About Nea Vrasna
Nea Vrasna is a small seaside resort on the Strymonic Gulf, right next to Asprovalta, with sandy beaches and calm surroundings. The village has two parts: the coastal one with the beaches and promenade, and the older one on the hill above, looking out over the sea. For Macedonian visitors Nea Vrasna is a peaceful family destination a short drive past Thessaloniki, good for a holiday without crowds. Summers are hot and dry, with sea temperatures reaching around 28° in August, and the season runs from late May to mid-September.
