About Vienna
Vienna is the capital of Austria, set on the Danube in the eastern part of the country, known for its imperial heritage, museums and coffee-house culture. The city is a classic city-break destination: the Schönbrunn and Hofburg palaces, the museum quarter and the opera are among its most visited places, and in December the city is known for its Christmas markets. For Macedonian travellers Vienna is easily reached by direct flights from Skopje and is a frequent destination both for tourism and because of the large Macedonian community in Austria.
