Possidi is a small coastal spot on the western part of the Kassandra peninsula, known for the cape of the same name with a sandy spit that reaches out into the sea. Its beaches are among the most famous on Kassandra, with shallow water on both sides of the cape and a lighthouse at its end. For Macedonian visitors Possidi is a choice for a calmer holiday in nature, with a rare coastal view and clean sea. Summers are hot and dry, with sea temperatures reaching around 27° in August, and the season runs from late May to mid-September.
