About Nea Potidaia
Nea Potidaia is a coastal spot at the very neck of the Kassandra peninsula, where the canal separates the peninsula from the mainland. It is a historically interesting point, with the remains of ancient Potidaea and beaches on both sides of the canal. For Macedonian visitors Nea Potidaia is a convenient entry to Kassandra, combining a beach holiday with historical traces at the start of the peninsula. Summers are hot and dry, with sea temperatures reaching around 27° in August, and the season runs from late May to mid-September.
