About Jahorina
Jahorina is the largest ski centre in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the mountains above Sarajevo, known for its long skiing tradition. It hosted some of the events of the 1984 Sarajevo Winter Olympics, and today it offers many groomed pistes and a modern ski system. Its closeness to Sarajevo makes it good for combining skiing with a city trip. For Macedonian visitors Jahorina is an appealing foreign ski resort, reachable by car. Winters are cold and snowy, with a ski season that usually runs from December to March, depending on snow conditions.
