About Kolašin
Kolašin is a mountain town in northern Montenegro, with a ski centre on the Bjelasica mountain right nearby. Unlike coastal Montenegro, a cold mountain setting prevails here, with groomed pistes, pine forests and clean air. Nearby is the Biogradska Gora national park with one of the last virgin forests in Europe. For Macedonian visitors Kolašin is a calmer alternative for a winter holiday abroad, reachable by car. Winters are cold and snowy, with a ski season that usually runs from December to March, depending on snow conditions.
