About Naples

Naples is a large city in the south of Italy, on the shore of the bay of the same name, known for its lively spirit, its UNESCO-protected historic core and as the birthplace of pizza. Above the city rises the Vesuvius volcano, and Naples is also a gateway to Pompeii, Amalfi and the island of Capri. For Macedonian travellers it is more appealing for a city and cultural break than for the beach, reachable by flight.
