About Olympiaki Akti
Olympic Beach is a seaside resort in Pieria, right next to Paralia, spread along a wide sandy beach in the shadow of Mount Olympus. It is a typical family spot with a seafront promenade, tavernas and calm, shallow water, well suited to a holiday with children. For Macedonian visitors Olympic Beach is part of the favourite belt of resorts a short drive past Thessaloniki, with affordable lodging and easy access to the neighbouring beaches. Summers are warm and dry, with sea temperatures reaching around 28° in August, and the season runs from late May to mid-September.
