About Šibenik
Šibenik is a historic coastal town in central Dalmatia, set where the Krka river flows into the sea through a narrow channel. Unlike the Roman foundations of the other Dalmatian towns, Šibenik was founded by Croats, and its landmark is the stone Cathedral of St James, protected by UNESCO. The town is also a gateway to the Krka and Kornati national parks. For Macedonian visitors it is an appealing mix of history and nature, reached by a longer drive or by flight.
