Larnaca is a coastal city on the southeastern shore of Cyprus, with a long palm-lined seafront promenade and beaches right by the centre. The city is also the main entry point to the island thanks to its airport, and nearby is a salt lake where flamingos gather in winter. Larnaca combines a beach holiday, historic churches and a relaxed Mediterranean rhythm. For Macedonian visitors it is reachable by flight and enjoyable for almost half the year.
